One of my best friends is a bobble head fanatic. He has basically every dashboard bobble head you can imagine, from the Virgin Mary to several of his favorite baseball players. Honestly, I have always found his collection a little bit obnoxious, and I have never paid that much attention to it. I knew that I wanted to get him his own customized bobblehead collectible, but I did not know where to start. Which bobbleheaded dolls did he have, and which ones didn't he? I knew that his birthday was coming up, and I also knew that it would be an excellent and inexpensive present for him, but I couldn't figure out how to go about getting him the right one. Then I found a company that makes custom bobble heads.
Apparently, you can get a custom made bobble head for any person. When I first heard about the service, I just assumed it would be pretty expensive. It seemed like buying a custom bobble head made out of plastic would cost a lot of money because they would have to design a mold by and and cast it. It turns out that buying a custom bobble head a surprisingly affordable. In the end, it costs very little more than any other kind of collectible doll. Of course, we didn't want him to suspect that we were giving him a custom bobble head. It was very difficult to disguise, because he knew that we were going to get him something related to his central hobby. I didn't have any photos of him, and I needed to get one that would be just the right expression for a custom bobble head. Naturally, I waited until he was drunk. When he drinks, he makes some of the goofiest expressions that I have ever seen. I knew that one of any number of them would be perfect for custom bobble heads. It was just a matter of getting him to loosen up, snapping a photo, and ordering it in time. He loved the custom bobble head. In fact, he loved it so much that I almost regretted getting it for him. For weeks after we bought it, he would waive the custom bobble head around all the time, speaking in a miniature of his own voice. To say it was annoying is like saying a blue whale is large. It was intolerable, but we put up with it because we all loved him.
