Collecting Kiss Memorabilia
Fans of music have always found one or two performers that they love more than the rest. Some have one group, and some change from year to year. One group that has a large, devoted fan base that has lasted through the years is Kiss. What is great for fans of this band is that they have a huge collection of things from which they can buy. Anyone who collects Kiss memorabilia could spend decades finding everything they want, that is, if they don’t go broke first. There are some common things they can get, and then there are some rather unusual items as well. Some of the most common pieces of Kiss memorabilia would be things that you can get for almost any other band or musical entertainer. You can find albums, CDs, tapes, t shirts, ticket stubs, and DVDs. Each of these pieces of Kiss memorabilia are going to have different values. These values depend on how rare the piece may be, the condition of the piece, and if it has an autograph on it or not. Rare items in mint condition, and that have an autograph, are probably some of the most expensive of this type of memorabilia. When it comes to Kiss memorabilia, the rarest items may also be some that you would not associate with a band. You can find things like Kiss condoms, and even a casket. Most fans find these to be fun, but using the condoms might not be a good idea if they have been sitting around for a while. The casket, on the other hand, might be something someone can get for a later date, and they would then be able to display it. Some people may find this morbid, however, so keep the fact that you want to be buried in it to yourself. There are many places to find Kiss memorabilia. In fact, besides Elvis, this may be some of the easiest stuff to find anywhere. However, finding the good pieces may be a bit harder. You can look at online sites dedicated to Kiss memorabilia, or you can find many interesting items on eBay and other auction sites. It is always smart to do a little research on any piece of Kiss collectibles to be sure you are not paying too much, or if the item is even a true piece. There is some good stuff out there, but watch out for the fakes.
